if you travel for business: a letter from the employer, stating the purpose of the trip as well as a a letter from a company in Indoinesia explaining the reason of the visit, its length and taking the responsibility for accomodation/maintenance costs of the visit. |

if proposed duration of stay is more than 60 days, then copy of Approval letter from the Immigration Office in Indonesia required. |

a prepaid FedEx/DHL/UPS waybill, if you want your visa couriered back to you |

Special Authorization from Indonesian immigration Authorities is required for the citizens of: Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Bangladesh, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Cambodia, Congo Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Israel, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mongolia, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tonga, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen. This may extend the processing period!
Special permit by the Indonesian authorities is required to visit Aceh, Maluku and Irian Jaya regions! Request to visit the areas may extend processsing by 14 days or longer. Visiting the above mention regions without proper permit is punishable by local laws.
